Though he was born in Lachine, Canada, his job as a trucker made him move to North Carolina ten years ago. There he met & married his lovely supportive wife and thought he was lucky! But we’ll talk about his being lucky because he loved Elvis? How about in one short year becoming an ETA who makes the semi-finals his first contest and the next winning a major Elvis festival? That's what happened to David, who took home 1st place at the Brantford Elvis Festival 2004 non-pro division! What a voice and what a stage presence and when David first walked on the Montreal stage in the People's Choice 2004, the crowd knew they would soon have another favourite! To think it all began after taking in a Shawn Klush show in Myrtle Beach a few years ago. David has always been an Elvis fan, but it wasn't until he was inspired by Shawn that he decided to enter Collingwood 2003 and perform for the first time - and the fans are glad he did! He pursues quite a busy lifestyle between Tribute shows, driving his rig across North America, entering contests and still considering himself one of the lucky people to be constantly meeting wonderful E fans like himself! |
