Gary got completely hooked on performing when he heard his first Elvis Presley record. By the age of twelve, he’d won a first place medal for singing in a duet and kept active singing in choirs and singing groups and by sixteen, he’d won a school talent show! In college, Gary studied vocal music for two years working towards an Associate of Arts Degree in Vocal Music from Illinois Central College. He performed with the college's traveling ensemble, The Chamber Singers, in which he was encouraged to play rhythm guitar to accompany himself on featured solos. On came the career of the ETA and Gary went on to win several contests and traveled extensively. Performing in Casinos, night clubs and parades from Illinois to Nashville and TV appearances in between, Gary also manages to have his own DJ and production company - a fellow who’s really on the go! |
