I view with awe how Destiny has ridden the range of my life. It has directed me to ports unknown, urged me to bathe in the life of those I visited, insisting that I eat the fruits of differing cultures and forced me to inhale the bare truth of happiness and despair that all cultures have to offer
I was born in Tenerife, the Canary Islands, lived in The Sahara for part of my childhood, was educated in England and Spain, and traveled endlessly throughout Europe and parts of Asia. Destiny, that rascal, eventually directed me to Hawaii, indeed the Pearl of the Pacific and the treasure of my heart (as my islands are in the Atlantic), and now North America, where I am at home "on the range" in Colorado.
My life is music. I was a singer when I was born and remain a singer today. I was trained in diplomacy, speak multiple languages and am a freelance Spanish-English/English-Spanish translator and interpreter.
