Hello friends - Whether you live in Montreal or plan on visiting Montreal soon and are looking for some great entertainment, I’d like to let you know what Lady Luck Music has begun posting the 2011 events that are open to the public, which we hope you’ll attend! The 55+ Centre, 27 St Francis Blvd., in Chateauguay, QC, will be having its annual Lady Luck Music presentation of Live Entertainment featuring Joanna & Jimmy as Lady Luck Live and starring Joe Callura as Tom Jones, Will Chalmers as Neil Diamond and Bryant Scott as Elvis! A wild weekend took place in Montreal once again, as Lady Luck Music held their 9th Annual Peoples Choice Awards on Feb 27 & 28. The 10 entertainers delighted the two packed houses full of Elvis fans. On Saturday September 19 - 8PM - Legion Fundraiser/ Corn Roast/ Dance and the 1st Annual “Chateauguay Karaoke Idol” contest, with your host Joanna of Lady Luck Music. There will be Celebrity Judges to pick the winner of a cash prize & trophy. Donation is $10 and includes all you can eat delicious corn on the cob! Everyone welcome, open to the public. Doors open at 6PM, Karaoke warm ups begin at 8PM.

The Elvis Entertainers will be back in the building Fri & Sat, Oct 2 & 3 in Montreal, for the 9th Annual Elvis Performers Showcase, an annual event that is dedicated to the men and women of our Military Service. You will see 5 Entertainers perform a full show on either night, and on the alternate night, they will perform 2 songs, so you will get a chance to see them all in concert! The venue once again is the LaSalle Legion Showroom, 7771 Bouvier, corner of Shevchenko in LaSalle. Donation is $20 pp each night, doors open at 6:30 and showtime is 8PM.

This years show features Bruce Herron, Wayne Jr, Jim Bishop, Bryant Scott, Bill McGrath, Daniel Barrella, Jack Millette, Dave Stewart, Larry Tschekalin and Marcus Wells. *****(Please note that due to conflicting schedules, Marcus Wells, Jack Millette & Bryant Scott will perform only on the Friday night, as they have job commitments elsewhere on the Saturday). We have our darling young Elvis Matt Nardi as special guest and all the way from “So You Think You Can Dance Canada” Jesse Herron, performing his Dance Tribute to Michael Jackson!

Carl Brandon - Star of the June 14 Show, Carl amazed everyone with his incredible vocal impressions! He mastered the vocals of Bobby Darrin, Frankie Valli, Paul Anka, Neil Sedaka and even did a heck of a tribute to Tom Jones and Englebert Humperdink and more! He also made sure the folks kept dancing, by hopping up on the stage to sing with Lady Luck! We had a blast and are certain to bring it back in 2009

Saturday evening, October 18 - LLM presented The “Dean and Frank” Show, with David Lane as Dean Martin, Michael Mirand as Frank Sinatra - PLUS - Dan Jackman’s “Tribute To The Classics”, Doug McKenzie’s remarkable “Roy Orbison” tribute and “Lady Luck Live playing the crowd’s favourite songs - It was an absolutely outstanding performance by all - with superb, authentic re-creations of vocals and magical stage presence - that delighted the sold out crowd of the 55 Plus Center in Chateauguay! 2009 has already been booked, hope you will join us for the next exciting show.

On December 31 - The LaSalle Legion Branch # 212 hosted its 60th Annual New Year’s Eve Gala and providing the wonderful entertainment was Joanna & Jimmy of Lady Luck. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful dinner and dance and eagerly toasted 2009 with wishes of good health, with peaceful times.

On Friday & Saturday, October 3rd & 4th, Lady Luck Music’s held their 8th Annual Montreal Performers Showcase. This highly anticipated Invitational Elvis event is the hottest ticket in town for Elvis fans and this year’s was no exception! 10 Top Elvis Tribute Artists performed over two nights to over capacity crowds and showcased their talents The room was thick with nervous excitement, to say the least and it made for a very wild weekend! On Friday December 12 - We had a fabulous time “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” at our annual Christmas Dance with Lady Luck Live and the always entertaining Elvis Gauthier! Elvis G. had the ladies seated around him during his re-creation of part of the ‘68 Come Back Special and also had the crowd dancing up a storm in original renditions of Elvis’ #1 hit songs. Lady Luck enjoyed playing all the old favourite songs, that kept their friends on their feet and singing along to Christmas tunes too!

The Elvis Entertainers will be back in the building Sat, February 6th in Montreal, for the 10th Annual Elvis Peoples Choice Awards Competition. The venue once again is the LaSalle Legion Showroom, 7771 Bouvier, corner of Shevchenko in LaSalle. Donation is $20 pp, doors open at 6:30 and showtime is 8PM.

This years show features Wayne Jr from North Bay as our guest entertainer. Eddy Prince, Bruno Nesci, Anthony Carbone, James Doria, Geph Mitchell, Sylvain Simard, Terry Campbell, Paul Fracassi, Matthew Lawrence and Ken Patterson. Quite a few young newcomers will be making their debut, so come on out and cheer them on! The Friday evening’s venue has yet to be determined, so we’ll let you know as soon as possible and, update this page with other new info as it becomes available.

Montreal is getting ready to celebrate what would have been Elvis’ 76th Birthday and folks cannot wait! The Elvis Entertainers will be back in the building for LLM’s first annual Elvis Birthday Bash Saturday, January 8th, 2011 in Montreal, entitled “It’s All About Elvis”. The show features Bruno Nesci, Matt Dowsett, Matthieu Nardi, Wayne Jr and Jon Cigan, with special surprise guests. The venue once again is the LaSalle Legion Showroom, 7771 Bouvier, corner of Shevchenko in LaSalle, H8N 2G6. Donation is $20 pp and $25 @ the door. Doors will open at 6:30. Showtime is 8PM. The “Elvis Kitchen” will be open and we will have Mario as the Elvis memorabilia vendor. Great Elvis Door prizes too and don’t forget the Birthday Cake!!!!

It has been almost 20 years since Lady Luck Music opened up its Montreal Elvis Contest to outside entertainers and proceeded with an invitational annual event. 2011 brings an exciting change for Lady luck Music, who are announcing a call for contestants for Montreal’s Peoples Choice Elvis Contest on March 4th and 5th, 2011.

Yes audience, for the first time in its 19 year history, the contest will be structured to allow participants outside of the invitees. Only 10 spots are available. The prize will be 1000 dollars cash and the attention of the professional Elvis community.

LLM’s contests are the best indicator of an entertainers popularity. The audience will vote by ballot for their favourite Elvis. Up to 20 contestants will compete on the Friday, 10 finalists will be chosen and on Saturday, we will crown the winners!
