From the year 2000, the photos you have seen on LadyLuckMusic.com website (unless otherwise credited), were taken by the LLM photography team of Doug McCready & Patsy Parker, with video footage taken by Patsy and her husband Danny Parker. "Patsy's Pics" (as they've come to be known) along with Doug's, have been published not only on LLM's site, such as all the Performers Showcases, Peoples Choice Montreal & Nashville, but in magazines and newspapers across Canada and the US (including TV Guide) and together, they have revolutionized the way ETA events are covered, bringing them up to world class standards. You may have seen Patsy with the LLM crew covering various E Fests like Collingwood, Brantford, Lake George, Ottawa, New England and PA. Those who have met Patsy love her sweet spirit, some of you had your photo taken by her or even with her. Upon her return from LLM's Nashville Peoples Choice in 2005, Patsy suffered a stroke and was wheelchair bound, her left side paralysed and her eye sight weakened. Patsy could no longer take her pics, but she never missed a show. The ETAs she adored never forgot her, kept a special place in their hearts for her and when they came to Montreal, lots of hugs were shared. The Christmas season was emotionally draining for Patsy, as the love of her life, her husband Danny had a heart attack the day after his birthday (Dec. 22nd) and underwent an angioplasty with insertion of two stints. She also had a bad bout of the flu at the time and Danny being her main caregiver, was worried about her and who would take care of her. But as we would have expected, their kids stepped in and lovingly watched over them both. Both Patsy & Danny ended up to be okay and attended the Montreal Elvis Birthday show on January 8th. Not one week after, Patsy was hit with a very bad gastroenteritis and was in severe pain. On February 10th, she was admitted to hospital for a series of tests, where doctors discovered a lower intestinal blockage and tumours on the ovary, which were quickly spreading through her system. Her condition was deemed inoperable and heavy medication was administered to try and ease the pain. It was heartbreaking to see her in the hospital that way.. So sad that such a sweet woman and good friend should have to suffer so much. On Saturday, February 26, 2011, the good Lord decided he wanted her to come home, because she had suffered enough. So she left peacefully in her sleep, with her rosary around her neck. We will miss Patsy Parker, may she rest in peace. Our sympathies go out to her husband Danny, her three children Kelly, Darren (Lori), Darlene (Derek) and four beautiful grand children Kyle, Cory, Justin and Cameron. If you would like to email your condolonces to Patsy's family, please send them to elvis@ladyluckmusic.com and we will forward them to the family.
