Can you imagine over 1,000 people flocking to the second floor of this mall to see an "Elvis" Show? Well they did - Looks like "Elvis" is still the best ticket in town. This brand new concept of a Peoples Choice Competition, where the fans get the chance to be a judge, is certain to become the latest craze, because "Elvis in the building" created quite the buzz in the mall! And "Elvis" may have been the main event, but for some reason, these 1,000 people felt an urge to "buy, buy, buy" afterwards! The afternoon’s entertainment seemed to be just what people needed to get them in the mood to "shop ‘till they drop" for everything from "soup to nuts", including the outfits needed to attend the summer line up of E-Festivals!
Host Roy LeBlanc was a fantastic emcee and welcomed everyone, even though there were only 600 seats reserved for fans eager to vote for their favourite ETA. Onlookers still stayed to watch the show, enjoying the performances of (in alphabetical order) Shon Carroll, Wayne Creeden, Will Ganzon, Dan Granger, Bob Hajas, Bruce Herron, Clint Lucier, David Muggeridge and Paul Nagy. Fans seized every opportunity to take photos, get a few autographs and share a few words with our stars of the day, and wished the event had to come to an end - A big "thank-you" to Rhonda Hanely, director of the Westmount Mall, along with all the employees who helped us out - Thanks to Roy LeBlanc for making it happen and to the fans who came out to support the ETAs who put on such a wonderful show - it was great meeting you! Congratulations to our winners Shon Carroll, David Muggeridge and Danny Granger and we’ll see you next year at the second annual London Peoples Choice.
