Wayne had been an ETA for sixteen years, then took a fourteen year break to be a "Mr. Mom" and raise his kids. But this obviously didn't hurt his career one bit. He must have been practising his singin' and movin' while he pushed the vacuum and renovated his house, 'cause on a dare that he wouldn't return to the stage, he came back to the ETA scene in better shape than before he left it! Wayne received the winks and cat calls as he made his way to the stage because he wore the leather, and he probably felt a little uneasy. When he commented on how hot it was, a few of the crowd responded with "take it off" - well that only made Wayne loosen up enough to laugh and say he "didn't mind feeling the heat in the leather suit, if it allowed the audience to enjoy his show". That was a good come back and Wayne gave the crowd a pretty good show!
