We were delighted to have Matt and his lovely wife Elda back in Montreal! Elda was good enough to lend her beautiful vocals to not only Matt's show, but to Marcus Wells as well, and serve as scarf girl to many of the ETAs. The Peoples Choice Awards 2003 was the first time Matt appeared in Montreal and fans here remembered all about his then "day job" as a minister - he had totally surprised them with his moves. Though he still spreads the word of God when the opportunity arises, Matt left his parish and pursued the career of an ETA full time. His show has improved greatly, he's much more relaxed with a great sense of humour, his vocals are stronger and he really enjoys his work. The crowd was taken by his performance and is excited to see the "singing preacher" on the Montreal stage again. And we mustn't forget the moves are still a big part of his show! Absolutely wonderful set Matt, it was great to have both you and Elda back!
