And heerrrrres Jesse! Montreal gets a bit nutty when it comes to Jesse, actually they would have withdrawal pains if he missed one of our Showcase events. This year, we had many out of town fans who made the trek to Montreal just to see Jesse - fans who'd seen him win recent contests both in Canada and the US, were delighted with his performance and wanted to wish him a belated Happy Birthday in person!
Needless to say, Jesse disappointed no one, put on a spectacular show, belted out the power songs he'd become so famous for and partied with the crowd both on and off the stage! The audience was extra energized this weekend, the house was packed on both nights and the folks just seemed to make a little more noise than usual, giving Jesse one of the best receptions yet. Still funny things are bound to happen and Jesse was slightly embarrassed when one of the front seat fans jumped up, grabbed his scarf, tugged on it to pull him down and steal a kiss, which nearly made him fall off the stage! But he didn't, all was well and all including Jesse laughed! Glad to have ya back Jesse, thanks!
