I first seen Dean Z in August of 1995 when my family and I made our first trip to Elvis Week in Memphis. Dean was singing at the Images of Elvis contest. I didnt really talk to him much then, but 2 years ago I started talking to him more. My friend Jennie and I became friends with him, and got to know more about him. Dean is a really great person to talk to, and he can ALWAYS make someone laugh. I knew Dean would be someone cool to talk to. We sat front row that year at the contest, and Dean came off the stage when he was singing and got in front of me and sang, and kissed my cheek, at the time I was totally embarrassed, but got over it =) Dean was a part of the Jam Sessions that Darren Lee started, and he always helped keep us all entertained. I seen Dean again in Springfield, Illinois when I went for my 17th birthday to the contest there. It was good to see him again and he even won the contest. This past year in Memphis he didnt fail to keep me laughing again. Jennie wasnt able to go so Dean sent her a message via my video camera which was really nice of him! =) If you ever get a chance to see Dean, don't pass it up. He's a great entertainer and an awesome person. =) |
