Rick
Lenzi

Rick Lenzi is a great entertainer. He can portray Elvis in ALL eras. Rick just recently placed third in a contest in Augusta, Georgia, and has placed in many others and has been WINNER at times too. Don't miss out on seeing Rick perform, you won't walk away dissappointed! Rick Lenzi "ERAS OF ELVIS" and Rick Lenzi & The Memphis Kings are two sites you can check out for more about Rick. I've also created a yahoo chat group/online fan club for Rick which can be found at Yahoo! Groups : RickLenziTryinToGetToYouElvisTribute

Hello everyone, happy March!!! I hope you all are doing well! I've recently made a week long trip to Georgia and spent time with my boyfriend and had a GREAT time! Sorry if this article isnt quite up to par! This month, I'm writing about someone who has not been featured on ETAR, Rick Lenzi. Sit back, relax and enjoy!

I have known about Rick for a long time. When I first got started in the "ETA World" my parents had went to a contest here in South Bend, in which Rick was the winner (If i remember correctly). I had never seen him perform until June 2001 at the Elvis Entertainers Network Convention. At this time, I had heard things about Rick, that made me have somewhat of a negative attitude twords him. For that fact, I didn't really pay too much attention to his performance, but from what I did watch I thought he was great.

August came, and Rick and his wife were in Memphis for Elvis week. I seen Rick sing more there at the Open Mic at the hotel. I was impressed with his performance, but still didn't really know him as a person, only what I had HEARD. One night a group of us went out to eat together, but we ended up getting split up, so I didn't get a chance to be around him then either. I seen him sing at the jam sessions, and took pictures and got some on video tape. I realized he was a great performer!

September came, and I made the trip with Quentin Flagg & his family to the Elvis Explosion Contest that Ronnie Craig does in LaCrosse, WI. This is where I really got to see Rick perform and get to know him as a person. Rick's performance really impressed me and I was anxious to get to know him. After the contest one night, we all went out to eat. Going out in big groups after a show or contest is something that is usually always done =) I noticed what a great person Rick was, and learned that he wasn't the way I had heard. He has an AWESOME sense of humor too! LaCrosse was the time I became friends with Rick.

Since LaCrosse, I have seen Rick again at the Disaster Relief Benefits he participated in with David Lee and John Loos in Oxford and Birmingham, Alabama. In those shows Rick brought back the memories of Elvis in the 50's and Elvis movie tunes! He put on a great performance and the crowd loved him! There were plenty more good times out to eat after those shows, too!
