“The world of Elvis Tribute Artists is a big one. Everyone has their own opinions on each artist. I myself, give them all credit for bringing memories back for the fans. In my case, being 17, I am too young to have seen or heard the real Elvis Presley. I enjoy watching the tribute artists re-create the moments everyone loved” ___________________________Cortney

Hello everyone! Happy New Year! I hope you all have a wonderful 2000! This
month I will tell you a little about Darren Lee!
I have not had too many personal experiences with Darren, but have seen him a
lot! He was the “leader” of the jam sessions in Memphis, after the big
Images Of Elvis Contest. Darren is very energetic and puts on an AWESOME
show! He sure knows how to keep everyone entertained!
I have seen Darren a few times in Michigan also, besides down in Memphis. He
usually remembered my friend and I by our “crazy slippers” in Memphis. The
last time I seen him in Michigan, he told me “you look more and more like the
hot girl from Who’s The Boss everytime I see you” That was a funny
statement, but Darren is cool.
He sure knows how to party, along with his brother Robin, they can keep a
party going until the wee hours of the morning.
I don’t really have much to tell you about Darren as he is from Canada and I
never really get to see him much, just that he is a great guy and a fantastic
entertainer! Don’t miss his show if you get a chance to see it!

Dear Readers,
I’m truly sorry this article isn’t one of the best. I have had a lot going
on here at home lately, and haven’t had the time nor energy to do it. My
best friend was in a terrible accident. Her car was ripped apart by a snow
plow. She lost her pinky & big toe on her right foot. She has a hole that
looks as though a shark bit her on her ankle. She has a metal rod down the
bone in her right leg and a broken left wrist. She has undergone many
surgeries already, with more to follow. The main one being on January 12th.
She has been there since December 13th. Jennie is just 20 years old, and
will need help to pay these very costly bills. We are putting together a
benefit show for Jennie. Featuring Quentin Flagg, Travis Morris, Doug
Church, Jesse Aaron, possibly Irv Cass, Rob Hunter’s Band, and more. We want
this to be a success. If you would like more information please contact me
at Elvis6240@aol.com or call at (219) 243-8340 This benefit will be here
in Indiana. If you are unable to attend, but would like to help, any help
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
