I graduate June 10th so things have been kind of busy for me, so let me apologize ahead of time if my article this month isn't quite up to par. I'm doing something different with Cortney's Corner this month. A few months ago, Joanna & Jim contacted me and told me I could write about ETA's who

haven't yet been featured on Lady Luck Music if it was easier for me. So far, all the ETA's Ive written about have been featured. This month I am changing that. I am going to write about someone who hasn't yet been featured on Lady Luck Music. I feel this is easier for me this month, I will try and get an article about someone already featured for next month! So let me tell you all about Travis Morris. Travis Morris hails from Winthrop Harbor, Illinois. He does tribute to Elvis in the 50's, Movie years, and now Travis has gotten his very first JUMPSUIT! It's the Tiger suit for anyone who wants to know. I met Travis on my 13th birthday, 5 years ago. My mom and Aunt Kay had seen him before and decided to take me there for my birthday. Travis sang to me

and embarrassed me, but I eventually got over it. =) Since then Travis has become like family to us. He used to do a lot of shows around our area. He hasn't had as many around here lately, but he still comes around. Travis is the only ETA who calls me by my childhood nickname of "Cookie" Travis and his family went bowling with us and some other friends a few years ago and we

all had a good time. He is a laid back friendly person, and a great ETA. One year in Memphis, we all felt Travis should've won the contest, and he didn't! We cried like babies, I guess that shows true dedication! Irv Cass used to call my friend Jennie and I "Travis's Girls" because we always stood our ground whenever someone even mentioned Travis's name. The following year, 1998, Travis won the contest! We were all very happy for him as he had finally took home first place! Travis is a great person and puts on a FANTASTIC show. As I always say, if you ever get the chance to see Travis perform, don't pass it up! Travis will join many other ETA's June 8 and 9th, 2001 at the Elvis Entertainers Network
