Hello once again friends and new visitors to LLM & Cortney's Corner! I hope everyone is doing well and all ready for the holiday season which is quickly approaching! I'll be doing some traveling to ETA shows in November, one being "Christmas With The King" a benefit for Ray Guillemette in Hickory Hills, Illinois. =) I hope to have an awesome review of that show for you all in the December edition. This month's story isn't as in depth as some others, so bear with me! Read on to hear about Anthony Von!

I met Anthony for the first time in 95 I believe it was. My family and I made our first trip to Memphis for Elvis week. We attended the "jam sessions" which Anthony was always at with Darren Lee and other ETAs, helping to keep everyone on their toes and partying into the wee hours of the morning!

Anthony became a favorite of ours because he seemed to be an awesome entertainer, not only that he was very comical! =) He kept us all laughing and full of smiles. The years went on and we seen Anthony in Memphis each year. We always looked forward to the jam sessions because we knew Anthony would be there!

Jennie and I were always known for wearing our slippers to the jams. Mine were pigs and her's were dogs. One year, Anthony took my slippers and put them on his hands and had the pigs dancing. He was having a good time that night! He also took our notebook and drew a guitar on paper and pretended to play it. Needless to say he had us all laughing so much we were in tears!

The past few years, Anthony has not been back to Memphis for Elvis week, but we hope to see him there again soon! We all miss him being included in the late night Jams! Those of you in Canada, don't miss out on any chance you have to see Anthony Von in concert!!
