1st SET: FRED WOLFE: Entering the stage in the Red Jacket - “Speedway Suit”, he takes us right Into the Movies. Starting with “A Little Less Conversation”, “Little Sister”, To the 1968’s SPEEDWAY tune “Let Yourself Go”. Off into the crowd he Goes with a few scarves to some very anxious ladies in waiting. Working back To the stage with “Rubberneckin”, “Are You Lonesome Tonight”, some crowd Hand clapping with 1965’s “Girl Happy”, then off to Hawaii with “Rock A Hula”. Next “Return To Sender”, “Devil in Disguise”, “Stuck On You”, And ending his first set with 1964’s “Viva Las Vegas”. SHERMAN ARNOLD: With his 50th year as an ETA , Sherman gives this crowd a tribute to Remember. In the Dragon Suit”, he starts out with a Rockabilly tune “Shake Rattle and Roll”, As the ladies and some Men as well were Rockin’ in their seats. “Blueberry Hill”, was next then back to the Elvis regular tunes with his “Teddy Bear “ toss, “Let Me Be There”, and “Way Down” To a dedication to all the Divorcee’s or wannabee divorcee’s with “Please Release Me”. Out to the crowd giving scarves to the ladies then back to the stage with a a tune he does so well,“HURT”, not many TA’s can do this number as well as Sherman.
FRED WOLFE - SET 2 Soaring to the stage again in the Red Phoenix suit, Fred again shakes up The crowd with a string of Elvis tunes: “That’s All Right”, “Burning Love”, Love Me”, “Blue Suede Shoes”, and had them on the edge of their seats with Steamroller Blues”, as he gyrated quickly back to the stage. “Proud Mary” “Suspicious Minds”, “You Are Always On My Mind”, “Sweet Caroline”, “Heartbreak Hotel”, “All Shook Up”, the funky version of “Hound Dog”, “Kentucky Rain”, “Whole Lotta Shakin Goin On”, ending the set with “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”.
SHERMAN ARNOLD - SET 2 In a Black / Gold Studded jumpsuit, Sherman gives us so many Elvis songs that we do not hear that often. Not used to doing TRAX, as he is always accompanied By his Interstate II Band, he showed us he can master some high-tech as well. Well, he starts Out with “Don’t Leave Me Now”, “Milkcow Blues Boogie”, “I Gotta Know”, “Anything That’s A Part Of You”, and then works his way off the stage and out into the crowd with scarves to, “I Got A Woman”, “Without Love”, “I’m Left, Your Right, She’s Gone”, back to the stage with “Follow That Dream” , “It Feels So Right”, then “Pledging My Love”, he asks “Don’t Ya Think Its Time”, ‘It’s A Matter Of Time”, and ending his set with his traditional closing song to pay Respect to our American Veterans of War……..”American Trilogy”. As the crowd stood to pay Their respect as well. We ETA Fans could not have asked for a more relaxed, enjoyable day/evening of a Fine Tribute to our King of Rock & Roll, “ELVIS PRESLEY”. Both Sherman & Fred Did an outstanding job with their tribute, and showed our unexpected guests the “Red Hat Ladies” club how we ETA fans can “Paint the Town” with fine entertainment. “WAY TO GO. GUY’S” ! ANOTHER tribute so well done…..and a wonderful way to celebrate “Elvis Presleys” 70th Birthday and 50 years of Rock & Roll
