Mario - Mario is the 2005 Images Of The King Champion after winning in Memphis. Mario starred in the West End show Jailhouse Rock, and is currently performing in the superb musical 'The Elvis Presley Story'.

Big Jim White - One of the original stars from the legendary 1977 hit show 'Forever Elvis,’  Big Jim is a true legend in the world of Elvis tribute performing and still retains one of the most powerful voices and charisma's to ever take to the 'Elvis stage'.
Big Jim was superb at last year’s Convention and he is back by popular demand.

Richard Atkins  - Star of the hit touring show “Rockin’ on Heaven’s Door” and “Elvis in Concert - The Las Vegas Years,” Richard tours the UK and Europe year round with his highly successful shows.

Kjell Bjornestad - Kjell is our current 2006 Champion. As fans from last year will remember, Kjell puts on a stunning performance and needs to be seen to be believed. Kjell also placed in the top three at the Images Contest in Memphis this past August.

The Rockettes - Fantastic live Rock & Roll band 'The Rockettes,' perform all the very best hits from the 50's and 60's.

We also welcome back our very good friend Carol Hunter, chief writer from Lady Luck Music.

Also in attendance will be Butch and Kim Polston  from B&K Enterprises with their fantastic array of the very best in jumpsuits and Elvis clothing.

The contest is recognized as one of the  “major players”  in the world of ETA Tournaments and thus attracts some of the biggest ETA names from many different countries. It stands firmly on its own as the biggest, best and most coveted crown in the European ETA world.

The 'Walk A Golden Mile In My Shoes' Elvis Contest & Convention is now in its fourth successful year.  Each year it has grown from strength to strength, getting bigger and better at an incredible rate.  Each year, contestants and fans from all over the globe transcend onto the U.K.'s 'Las Vegas' town of Blackpool to celebrate the legend that is Elvis Presley.

The January 2007 Convention is being held at the famous Pleasure Beach Complex on the South Shore Promenade in Blackpool. The contest and showcase performances will be at the U.K.'s number 1 'Vegas' venue - the Horseshoe. This venue really is uncanny in its look and feel of the International Hotel Las Vegas Showroom which Elvis himself made famous in the film 'That's The Way It Is'.

This year’s contest boasts over fifty professional entrants from not only the U.K. but also Slovenia, Spain, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Canada respectively. The contest is open to ETA’s worldwide, all with the same aim of taking Europe’s top ETA crown back home with them.

Showcase performances this year are provided by the following top class tribute performers:

Roy LeBlanc – One of Canada’s favourite and most successful ETA sons, Roy will be performing his award-winning show at the convention.

The convention manages to at all times retain its feeling of friendliness between fellow Elvis fans and ETA's alike. A true tribute to the King in which everybody plays their part. Many friendships are made at the convention and doubtless many more will be made over the coming years.

Showcases, special guests, movies, music, gospel concerts, tribute shows, merchandise stalls, jumpsuit makers, Elvis discos, and so much more can be found each and every year.
