The Brantford Elvis Fest was an extremely friendly event. It was like being part of one big happy family. The ETA's families being welcomed behind the scenes was a gesture that was greatly appreciated by everybody. ETA's also had the opportunity to perform at the Casino, which was a lot of fun. |

I have just celebrated the one-year anniversary of my first EllaVis performance. Much has happened since that Collingwood street party. I've bought a jumpsuit and worked allot on new songs and moves. I've even put together a female version of the Hawaiian look that went over extremely well |

Nothing can come close to the Collingwood experience with its absolute power to take over the whole town. The festival is HUGE!!! I love all the hype and the pressure of competing. I don't think any other festival can compare. The town is saturated with Elvis and people love it. It's an amazing atmosphere to be part of. I also thrived on performing with such a high caliber of ETA's. My experience this year was quite different from 2001. For one thing I knew what to expect. That made a world of difference. I was still nervous but |

I was surprised at how much the awareness of EllaVis had grown. I couldn't walk 10 feet down the street with out posing for photos or being interviewed for T.V. or newspaper. I was so pleased to have made the semi-finals. I really wanted another chance to sing in the arena. There was such a great buzz in there. It was an amazing feeling performing Suspicious Minds for a full arena of cheering fans. They really got into it and I thank them for that. Great audience support really pushes me to new levels. |

The only thing that bothered me about Collingwood was the sound quality for the non-pros at the finals. You could hardly hear the vocals. At the Brantford Elvis Fest, they made every effort to make ALL the ETA's sound |
