The ExSpence Account Showband was off to Choctaw, Mississippi and the Pearl River Resort on May 12th and 13th, to perform two fantastic shows with David Lee (Collingwood & Images winner 2004). What a blast everyone had! From the moment EAS pulled up to the Resort, they experienced southern hospitality at its finest. The rooms at the casinos were just beautiful, the staff and management of the casinos were very accommodating and the artists were all treated like celebrities. Tara, David's wife, did a fantastic job making sure that everything was set up well for the band and that the show ran smoothly.
David did such a superb job that it is no wonder he did so well in the contest scene last year. The Friday show was held for the "high rollers" of the Golden Moon & Silver Star Casinos at their beautiful outdoor venue located at the water resort known as the Keyes and the Saturday show was open to all. The scene was set to replicate a Hawaiian luau, complete with plenty of food (full pig roasting on a spit), drink (you name it topped off with a mini umbrella and fruit), sand and fun in the sun! And the audience - Wow! The people's reaction was unbelievable and they made the band feel like royalty and asked management to have the same show back at a future date! EAS and David Lee's team spent the off time hanging out at the casino, going to the lounge and listening to the group "Buck Wild" who were excellent! As usual, backing up an ETA or even multiple ETAs is very interesting and always a pleasure for EAS wherever they are hired to perform. Most certainly, this show with David Lee was a fun time to remember and also a well done and professionally executed event. Thanks to David & Tara, EAS appreciates the opportunity to work together.
