The Jailhouse Rock Windsor Elvis Fest celebrated its second successful year, drawing fans and ETA’s from Canada and the USA. The Festival’s ETA contest was a preliminary for the EPE Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest in Memphis. There were other new features, too, and fans enjoyed a weekend full of music and fun in tribute to the one and only Elvis Presley!
Carol attended the 30th Anniversary events in Memphis during Elvis Week, including the sold-out Finals of EPE's first Ultimate Elvis Competition - not as our LLM head writer, but "off duty" as an Elvis fan. However, she did write a small report on the Finals, complimenting the ETA performances and tasteful production presented to the enthusiastic fans

Carol highlights Dave Battah’s amazing tribute to Rod Stewart, along with tributes to Ritchie Valens, Tina Turner, Elvis & more, which delighted the crowds at a recent rock & roll legends show.
Nathan Belt, 28, from Texas, is a multi-talented singer, songwriter and musician who is also making a name for himself in ETA circles these days with his tribute to Elvis Presley. His ETA highlights to date? Nathan says, “Meeting and performing with Johnny Thompson and Trent Carlini.....”.
Elvis fan and up-and-coming ETA, Jamie McDonnell Roberts, l7, lives on a small farm on the outskirts of Swansea, in South Wales. In the past few years, Jamie’s foray into the Elvis and ETA world has taken him on an exciting journey from Wales to North America.

"Elvis" recently made an appearance in Canada's Maritime provinces in the form of ETA's Shawn Klush and Pete Paquette, along with the Sweet Inspirations and members of the Fabulour Ambassadors Show Band. It was the group's first trip to the Maritimes and by all accounts (performers, fans, media) it was a great success and a lot of fun for all involved.
