I kinda hope Bruce enjoyed his first trip to Montreal, though he said he did and laughed when I asked him if he was in shock due to our rather forward type of an audience. With a soft, sweet character and lookin' mighty fine, Bruce did a good job capturing the 'movie years' persona. Some of the females in our audience have a habit of giving the ETAs a nick name the first time they meet them and the name they chose for Bruce was "Bossa Nova Baby". Not that he sang that song, actually he sang Rock-A-Hula....and since they called him that before he got on the stage, it's entirely possible something had gone on in the lounge around the merchandise table that we didn't know about! Before he began Rock-A-Hula, he called a few of those gals onto the stage to dance beside him as he sang (and the way they danced could have been misconstrued as a bossa nova rather than a twist, who knows) nothing seemed to matter for anyone other than having a good time! Whatever Bruce did on the stage, they loved - and they laughed - and we could only guess that a dress rehearsal occurred in the lounge prior to their Hawaiian debut as hula girls. Alright Mr "B", we thank ya for coming down and enjoyed meeting your guests from Ontario! See you in Oshawa.
