Doug Church, The Voice Of Elvis, did it once again - he captivated the hearts of the entire audience with his uncanny vocal resemblance to Elvis, on this ever to be remembered 70th Birthday Tribute! An utterly fantastic performance by a sensational seasoned entertainer! From the wings it seemed Doug slowly reeled in the audience until they were at the edge of their seats in anticipation of the next incredible note to be released, the next Elvisy gesture, his gait or flirtatious nuance, or slightest comical retort - the crowd couldn't help but love him, their eyes watched his every move! He reminded them of Elvis. He had the crowd in the palm of his hand and I tell you, I sure had a great time playing Charlie Hodge with the water & scarves! Doug performed songs from E's Madison Square Gardens show and that was quite refreshing to the crowd as well, though the audience managed to scream out a few requests. Everything was in place for a magical evening of fun and that's what the crowd had and that's what Doug had, I think we all had fun! Doug, thanks for the Elvis touch of class!
