And the band played on........Known as the worlds #1 touring Elvis Tribute orchestra, the ExSpence Account Showband (EAS) did an amazing job backing the ETAs once again. These competent musicians were well able to cover the extensive repertoire of the ETAs with ease, never repeating one song - and well over 80 songs were performed! Along with the delightful sweet voice of Cheryl Crenshaw singing backup, each exceptional member lent their vocals to the mix. Charlie Parks on rhythm guitar, Tom Madden on lead, Jason Parks on synth/trumpet, Mike Parks on keyboard, Steve Fifer on bass and the explosive John Crenshaw on drums tightly executed a non stop exilirating exhibition of musical perfection! These qualities combined with their bubbling personalities, EAS made the ETAs feel comfortable on stage and allowed the receptive audience to appreciate the entire production. An extra big thanks goes to Jason Parks for his amazing concentration ability! Jason recorded the entire show and managed to play music at the same time! Milwaukee surely has to have adopted Jimmy "The Big Bopper" Prince as their very own teddy bear, because they were thrilled to see him as the Emcee of the Showcase! Jimmy's name may be synonymous with the "Sock Hoppin Oldies" shows in Wisconsin, but he's first and foremost a devoted Elvis fan (and talented bass player) who added an enjoyable comical touch of class to his introduction of the ETAs,personalities, sponsors and commentaries throughout the entire show! Sharing the stage with Jimmy was a pleasure, quite the experience and very enjoyable at that! Jimmy, LLM promises to buy you pizza when you come to Montreal! Folks, you had to be there to know what I'm talking about, but in the meantime, to find out a bit more on The Big Bopper, go to: www.jimmyprinceshow.com
