Saturday night February 9, 2008, in Montreal, the party to beat all parties took place at the LaSalle Legion Showroom and anyone who was there could tell you - we were jammed to the rafters (if that can happen in a one level venue). Come to think of it, we did see a few rafters near the ceiling and not too far under them were either audience members & their cameras or ETAs standing on chairs or tables to be one step closer to the action. It was sheer frenzy among Red Hat gals, who were their usual daring selves, yet remained the darlings the ETAs were thrilled to sing to. Not only Red Hats filled the room however, and the entertainers did one heck of a job reaching out to the very enthusiastic crowd. What a terrific Elvis ambiance - Elvis music was played constantly and folks either sang along or danced; cheerfully talked amongst themselves; ate burgers and sipped on Pepsi; checked out & purchased memorabilia from vendor Mario, who offered beautiful merchandise from Elvis lamps to recordings and games to trinkets. Then of course, the real action of Showtime and seriousness of voting for the favourite ETA! All the boys were nothing short of fantastic, there wasn’t a dull second that passed, everyone had a very difficult time choosing the winners and though these ETAs are all winners, we congratulate Larry Tschekalin (1st), Paul Ross (2nd) & Danny Granger (3rd) on their wins. Thanks goes out to special guest, 14 yr old Matt Nardi, whom the crowd adored; to our US ETAs Ruben Castillo (NJ), Wayne Curtis (NY), John Purschock (PA) and Ontario ETAs Billy Cruise, Eddy Prince, Will Thompson and Bruce Stewart. Other thanks goes to our Montreal crew: Doug McCready (photographer), Danny Parker (videographer), Daryl Richards (roadie/driver), Linda Ryan, Anna Watkins (tickets & seating), Pam & Brian Willett and staff of LaSalle Legion Branch # 212 for help with tickets, lights, set up of tables. Best of all, a huge thank you to the numerous Elvis fans in Montreal for your continued support of the Elvis Entertainers and Lady Luck Music - Enjoy the photos below , God bless and adios until next time, sincerely, Joanna

Hi folks! Joanna here, please read my message to the left of my pic and enjoy the page!
Friday night was an open mic Karaoke & dance party, where everyone got a chance to meet the ETAs, kick back and relax & sing and folks couldn’t wait to return on Saturday night for the competition - which was absolutely fantastic and kept everyone up till the wee hours. Sunday morning brunch gave us a chance to say farewell, then all headed out for the long drive home. We’ve included a few shots from the Karaoke night in the pics below. Hats off to Niki & Eddy, the “Silver Fox”, Ruben, John, Larry, Danny, Bruce, Monette & Eric, Rich, Eva, Melanie, TJ, another Larry and more!
Well Sudbury’s Larry Tschekalin has done it again, knocking the socks off the audience, stirring up the action, having one grand old time and making the folks happy - happy enough to vote him in first place! On both the Friday & the Saturday nights, Larry made sure, as did some of the other ETAs, to be where the action was jumping up on a table or the bar - very memorable, so Montreal says thanks!
Oshawa’s Bruce Stewart is certainly on the right track to becoming a successful ETA. On the scene for just a short time, Bruce has managed to get his moves and vocals down pretty pat. His wonderful sense of humour is also a big drawing card. Nice to have you down Bruce!
First time to Montreal for young Danny Granger from Windsor, but not the first time winning on the LLM stage. Having fun is the name of the game for Danny and the folks just love him for it! He gave a great show and pleased his audience. Nice job D!
It had been a while since Paul Ross entertained in Montreal and the fans were simply delighted to hear his powerful vocals once again . Surely a touch of class to hit the stage, certainly very close to the people who came to see him and won’t be the last time he’s invited back! Great job Paul, thanks for being here!
Boy oh boy, this guy doesn’t stop! What a fire-ball of energy who dances and sings with the might of Zeus! Ruben Castillo from New Jersey surprised the entire audience with his great moves & clear on pitch vocals - the crowd got really excited and loved him!
His second visit to Montreal, Eddy Prince from Niagara Falls makes the ladies a little wild and very daring to say the least. Smooth and slick vocals, that “oh-la-la” look and voila, let the photos do the talking. Very nice entertaining Eddy, hope you come back soon!
It was a real pleasure meeting John Purshock from Philadelphia . This seasoned performer really mingled with the crowd, who appreciated his every note and heartfelt commentary about Elvis. John wailed out the power songs and moved with grace. Very nice job Johnny!
It was great seeing Wayne Curtis from New York again, he’s one heck of a pleasant soul who absolutely loves folks and loves to entertain. The crowd responded with a warm round of applause, which in turn, made him feel pretty good. Thanks for joining us Wayne!
First time in Montreal for Billy Cruise from Brampton and he sure made an impression on our audience, dedicating “Angel” to Eilene & Louis (their favourite song). The couple are off to Vegas to renew wedding vows, in an Elvis Chapel and requested “Angel” be sung then. Thanks Billy, you made them very happy!
Will Thompson a.k.a. The Silver Fox (football nick name) had moved from Peterborough to Niagara Falls since we last saw him. He hasn’t lost his love for coaching any team he is around, but did surprise us with his new look, new moves and new repertoire! Nice job Will.
Introducing Matt Nardi - the 14 yr old local sensation who performed and drove the audience wild! Matt, whose idol is Elvis Story’s Martin Fontaine, had the authentic 50’s moves down and his vocals pretty keen and melodic. He was excited to meet his peers and has decided to enter Collingwood 2008. We wish him luck and will see him again soon on the LLM stage! Bravo Matt!
