I had seen Paul at the Brantford Elvis Fest last year for the first time. A little later, Carol Hunter had featured him in one of her articles, we played one of his sound clips and Carol managed to catch more of his performances. One year is a long time when your 12 and Paul has been performing quite a lot and recently had been noticed by a film scout, which landed Paul a principal role in the movie Crime Spree starring Harvey Keitel ( Paul plays the part of a mobster's son). This of course caught our attention and we decided to bring him to Montreal and let our audience catch a glimpse of this "little darling". He puts on one heck of a show!
Paul Fracassi "Kid Elvis" was the opening act and he belted out songs, passed out scarves, kissed some ladies on the cheek, combined his Karate moves and carefully planned Elvis moves, and never missed a cue while he worked the room! No one wanted to miss a beat of the action, even if meant standing up and leaning over heads of others to see him while echoes of "isn't he adorable" could be heard throughout the hall! We got quite a kick out of his stage direction, as while making his Elvis hand gestures, he turned around and this little voice said "cue the music"!
