Elvis left an everlasting impression on Ray - here are a few words taken from the back cover of Ray’s album: |

“Your Music was a guiding light when I was a child, a constant companion when no one else was around. Together we got lost in the beat, hoping the beat would never get lost. You let me know it was cool to say ”sir“ and ”ma’am“ and that if you had, you must give to those who didn’t. You taught me that there is no one more precious in life than a mother. Although I never saw you in concert, I know you’d have still smiled at me even if I was in the 452nd row. You see, to me you are more than just the music you created. You were my friend, my teacher, my hero...yes it’s true, every today and every tomorrow....I’ll remember you!” |

And rightly so, his show was called “A Ray Of Elvis” - He continued to project the kindness towards those in need, by performing many charitable events since the beginning of his ETA career. Ray is an outstanding entertainer with a wonderfully warm personality and the people grew to love him. He gave of himself - and the fans, friends and fellow ETAs, gave back in his recent time of crisis. Ray is an inspiration to anyone who’s had the privilege of knowing him and I know he’s touched the hearts of many. During my interview with him, I heard how he drew strength from the support which was shown to him. He touched my heart.....again..and I was amazed, though not surprised, that he has turned this misfortune into an example of faith - that the Strong survive and the Good will overcome obstacles - and that there will always those in need, who are less fortunate than oneself. |

I’m so proud to call this gentleman Ray Guillemette, my friend - sincerely, Joanna. |
