“Vegas Razzmatazz!” |
|
The son of a career airforce pilot, Billy's first recollection of Elvis was in 1968 at age six. His parents had divorced and his mother would spend hours listening to Elvis. Elvis Golden Records 3 was the first album that he remembers, then in the early seventies his mother brought the double album 'from Memphis to Vegas', visions of the King in black leather etched in his mind. Billy started to collect anything he could on Elvis in a treasured scrapbook that has long since been lost. Performing also ensued, as he was fascinated by the reaction Elvis got from the adoring fans. He took special note of how the fans admired all the Vegas glitter that adorned the stage - the combination of Elvis’ talent, the suits, the lights and sound - an enticing part of the ETA ‘s career. It meant so much to him, that Billy decided to recreate the magic Elvis brought the people - and Billy did it by creating the show with white suits, big hits, big sound and the Vegas Razzamatazz the people keep on enjoying! |
