Though his mother taught him to sing at the age of four, he didn’t make his debut as Elvis until nine - when he cut out sideburns from a chocolate wrapper, stuck them on his face, and sang “Blue Suede Shoes” at his uncles wedding! He entered many contests before leaving to study Drama, Singing and Dancing at London’s Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, becoming the first Irishman to complete the three year program. By 1992, Mark Leen had appeared on ITV, BBC, Channel 4, RTE and TV3, and whenever “Elvis Day” is run on MTV & VH1, he is a regular! Playing to crowds of up to 6,000 people, Mark is no stranger to success throughout Europe and is currently working on a new CD - The pride of Ireland has been dubbed “The Emerld Elvis” by the fans, very adoringly!
