Workin’ His Way Up

Born in 1957, Bradley’s been playing guitar since the age of eleven. By fourteen, he’d sung on a local radio station and by sixteen, he’d formed his own C&W band called “Brad & the Classics”. By 1974, he’d added song writing and recording to his list of credits, through the composition of a tune called “Evel Knievel”. Five copies were made, one for each member of the band and one copy as a souvenir for “Evel K” himself. All five people enjoyed the experience and say it gives them something to talk about around the local campfires! Although Brad is a true fan, he doesn’t consider himself a true tribute artist, but always incorporated Elvis’ music in his shows. His voice resembled that of Elvis’ and the audiences would always request Elvis songs. Brad even carried over that material to his “top 40” band in 1978. But by 1985, he retired from the club business, concentrating his efforts on being a devoted husband and father. He still sings Elvis songs, for pleasure.
