At the age of 7, Charles heard the news of Elvis’ death on the TV and that got him curious. He flipped through his parents’ record collection to see if they had any Elvis records, came across a 45 rpm of ‘It’s Now or Never, and was totally captivated by the golden voice coming out of the stereo. He began searching for every Elvis record imaginable, played them, then before long, began to sing along with the recordings. Ten years after that, Charlie found himself singing Elvis in Karaoke bars, loved the reaction he received and quickly realized his singing made people happy. His friends and family urged him to take his singing one step further and perform for larger audiences, which he did, and learned he could reap as much enjoyment from these performances as the audiences did watching him perform! With love in his heart and a voice that shines from his soul, Charlie B not only plays those Elvis records, he plays the role of the ETA! |
