“23 Inspirations!”

Between ‘72 and the time Elvis had passed on in ‘77, Rob had seen his idol and inspiration perform 23 times. Imagine the thrill! Born in New York City, Rob learned to play guitar at age fourteen, early influences being the Beatles, Neil Diamond and of course, Elvis. In ‘74, he moved to Las Vegas with his brother and a few years after that formed his own band called Rock and Roll Heaven, playing classic oldies and rock music, becoming a mainstay in the Vegas bar scene for fifteen years! During that time, Rob had not only paid tribute to Elvis, but Neil Diamond too. While performing at “The Night Club” in the Vegas Hilton, (the same hotel Elvis played for seven consecutive years), Rob was made an offer he couldn’t refuse, that forced him to end his job after only one month. Vegas already had far too many ETAs, so in ‘95, he decided to join John Stuart’s “Legends In Concert” as Neil Diamond and set off to Hawaii. When the Hawaii show closed in ‘98, Rob headed back to Vegas, where he performs both as Elvis and Neil, has his own company called RNRH Entertainment. Though Rob loves portraying Neil in shows like “Legends“, it was Elvis who inspired him to become an entertainer!
