“Only your hairdresser knows for sure......” especially if you work in a beauty salon and your company holds a costume party and you win! That was Terry’s first win, back in ’95, then he went on to become an ETA - entered and won several contests from Oklahoma to Memphis! But prior to that, he was no stranger to the King’s music. From an early age, his pass time would be imitating Elvis’ moves and singing along to the records his mother would play while working around the house. Terry’s musical and acting experience would later develop as he performed in plays, appeared in a few TV shows, working as a radio DJ and directing a few musical productions. Terry as the ETA was probably encouraged to “stick with it“ when his picture appeared on the front page of a local newspaper, where he did appear as Elvis in one of his variety shows and started a buzz -this time without the use of a hair clipper! |
