Wayne began his tribute career in ‘76, performing throughout Canada and the US for ten years, then stopped to get married and raise a family. He didn’t don the jumpsuit again until a few years ago - on a dare from his wife, when he auditioned for the popular Ontario based troupe “ Memphis Motion”. Wayne was hired on the spot and worked with “Motion” doing the Vegas years. Upon placing 5th in the pro category at the Brantford Festival 2000, he was prompted to go on as a solo ETA, covering all three eras of Elvis’ material in a respectful way. He believes in himself as a messenger of good will - and the audience seems to believe in him - a winning combination for the appreciation of the world of ETAs. |
