My co-host and emcee for the contests was ETA Gino Monopoli from Toronto, a Canadian and American contest winner in his own right, who did a tremendous job hosting not only both evenings, but acting as liaison / coordinator for the entire weekend’s activities. Gino guided the boys through personal appearances which included a radio station, shopping mall, restaurants and more, making them feel relaxed and right at home, and best of all, friends. He prepared introductions for each of the ETAs and by the time he got to introduce them on stage, Gino had added a little charming “color” to their intros, which allowed the crowd to see the comradery of the true Elvis Tribute Artist.

Gino brought humor to the stage, sharing jokes with the audience during his monologue and throughout the show, and his naturally funny, good natured character put the crowd in a really great mood. They loved him for being “Gino” - the ETA they’d seen perform in Montreal several times before and now, to his credit, they love him as an emcee!

Gino, thanks for doing such a fantastic job and for taking care of all 10 ETAs , all weekend long. I enjoyed sharing a few laughs on the stage with you, even if only for a little while. You’ve got the heart kid and I love you for it!
