A graduate of the Technical University of Berlin in both physical and sound engineering in ‘89, Michael Lahner began his career as a tribute artist in ‘85, singing Elvis at a Christmas Concert. He formed a five piece band called “ETK” and traveled around Europe performing for the many Elvis fans there. Michael built a reputation over the years as being one of the most tender tributes, very true to the likeness of Elvis, not only because of his approach to singing, but because of the appreciation he has for his audience. In ‘95, he recorded “In The Ghetto” as a Christmas gift for his parents, whom he holds dear to his heart. He was a hit at the Berlin/Estrel Hotel at the New Year’s Eve 2000 bash and his goal remains to keep paying homage to his idol, Elvis Presley.
